This Page will help you testing ExShopCatalog with your osCommerce shop.

1. Test access to database

The first thing to do is to test wether access to the shop's database is allowed "from outside" or not.

Enter the database connection parameters and click the 'Test' button.

If answer is "Ok", you may proceed with next step. If test failed, try to correct the problem by interpreting the error message. The database server of your shop may not allow connection "from outside". Contact the administrator for more information.

2. Define and test other configuration parameters

In this step, you will test Web Service ability to get images from your site.

Note that all four parameters you entered in the preceeding step should still display in the above frame. If it is not the case, write it again.

Enter the ShopURL and ImagePath parameters. The third parameter should be any image file name being in the image directory. When completed, click the 'Test' button.

An image shoud display itself in the above frame . If everything is Ok (no matter if image is distorded), you may proceed with next step.
